About
Cy Wilson is a polyvalent french artist born in Paris in 1977.
Raised among artists, (mother is a painter and a calligrapher, father is a painter), he takes the advantage of the emulation to develop his tools and spectrum into painting and printing technics.
"I consider my duty as an artist to acclimatize myself, to work and to study every kind of technic, tool and support possible."
His artworks are deeply marked by the violence he underwent younger, the spirituality, the journeys and a constant questionning of the society, the religions, the human interactions...
"My work is impulsed by violence and the paradoxal ways society admonishes its subjects to deal with it."
Cy is currently building up an art collective project house in order to welcome artists from all around the globe and initiate stimulating exchanges of skills, knowledge, experiences and perform workshops.
"Since the graphic arts school, the perpetual questionning of myself into the confrontation and dialogue with other creatives is a first need for me."
